Stronghold vs. Trifexis

Comparison between Stronghold and Trifexis

You can combine flea treatment with heartworm prevention to ensure that your pet's health is good and more convenient and manageable. This wide spectrum is available in both oral and topical treatments.

Stronghold Spot-On protects against fleas, ticks, heartworm, and ear mites for the entire month. It also controls roundworms and hookworms in cats and sarcoptic mange in dogs.

Trifexis tablet controls and treats ringworm, whipworm, and hookworm and prevents heartworm in dogs. It also kills fleas like eggs, adults, and larvae at all life stages. However, it does not kill ticks.

Stronghold is safe for cats at the age of eight weeks and for dogs at six weeks. Trifexis is safe for puppies and dogs at the age of eight weeks and has a minimum weight of 5 lbs (2.3 kg). Please make sure that you don't give Trifexis to cats.

Please choose the correct size according to your pet's body weight.
