Stronghold Spot on For Cats & Dogs

Stronghold is the same product as Revolution, that known by various names in different regions of the world. However, it is produced by the same manufacturer and contains the same active ingredients.

Stronghold Spot on will prevent your dog from developing heartworm disease, treat ear mites, and control flea infestations. It also treats sarcoptic mange and tick infestations in dogs and is used to control roundworms and hookworms in cats.

Stronghold Spot-on is an effective treatment that contains the active substance selamectin. Stronghold spot-on solution is available in 2 concentrations (6% and 12%). It comes in tubes of a few sizes (15, 30, 45, 60, 120, 240, and 360 mg). The concentration and power to use depend on the weight of your dog or cat.

    Holding the pipette upright, firmly depress the cap to puncture the applicator seal, then remove the cap.

    Part the hair at the base of the cat’s neck in front of the shoulder blades to expose a small skin area. Apply the tip of the pipette directly to the skin without massaging.

    Squeeze the pipette 3–4 times to empty the contents in one spot. Avoid contact between the product and your fingers.

    Precautions

    • It should be used only topically, not in the ears or mouth
    • Do not wet your pet for 2 hours after applying Stronghold
    • Keep your pet away from the fire for 30 minutes after application or until hair is dry
    • Not for human use.
    • Not to use on cats under eight weeks of age
    • Not to use on dogs under six weeks of age

    Side Effects of Stronghold Spot On

    • Stronghold Spot on may cause mild and temporary hair loss 
    • Stronghold Spot On may cause clumping of hair at the site
    • Stronghold may cause temporary and reversible neurological signs
