Simparica vs. Nexgard

Comparison between Simparica and Nexgard

Chewables are a mess-free and simple option to control flea and tick infections on your dog. Here we will see the difference between the most popular brands, Simparica and Nexgard . Both need to be administered monthly and come in flavored chewables.

Simparica and Nexgard help control flea infestations by breaking the breeding cycle and killing adult fleas and ticks.

Simparica and Nexgard work similarly, but they have different active ingredients: Simparica (Sarolaner) and Nexgard (Afoxolaner). Before starting any medication, it is important to consider the active ingredient and whether it suits your dog.

Simparica is safe for puppies and dogs at six weeks and has a minimum body weight of 2.8 lbs (1.3 kg). Nexgard is safe to use at the age of eight weeks with and minimum weight of 4 lbs (2 kg).

Please choose the correct size according to your pet's body weight.
