These are two different application methods, but both have a similar use, killing adult ticks and fleas before they lay eggs. Frontline Plus has the advantage of killing flea eggs and larvae, controlling sarcoptic mange, and eliminating chewing lice.

There is a key difference in how long the treatment lasts. Frontline plus need to apply every four weeks. Bravecto protects 12-week coverage from fleas and ticks (8 weeks of lone star ticks).

Frontline Plus is safe to use on cats at the age of eight weeks and has a minimum weight of 1.5 lbs (0.7 kg). It is safe for puppies and dogs at the age of eight months and with a minimum weight of 4.4 lbs (2 kg).

Bravecto chew is safe to use for puppies and dogs at the age of six months and minimum body weight of 4.4 lbs (2 kg), and it has been tested safe to use with nursing and pregnant dogs.
