Comparison between Advantage Multi Spot-On to Revolution Spot-On
Spot-On treatments are the best way to deal with fleas and ticks for your pet. In addition, some new formula provides wide-spectrum that will protect your pet from heartworm and other intestinal parasites.
Advantage Multi and Revolution are topical; you must give them to your pet every month. They both will kill adult fleas - prevent heartworm from developing and help to control infestations by preventing them from laying eggs.
It is very important to get your dog tested for heartworm. Unfortunately, these are not evaluated as safe to use on heartworm-positive pets.
Advantage Multi prevents hookworms, whipworms, and roundworms in cats and dogs. However, it does not kill ticks in pets. Revolution kills adult ticks in cats and dogs and only prevents hookworms and roundworms in cats.
Advantage Multi is safe for cats from nine weeks of age and dogs from seven weeks of age. Revolution is safe to use on dogs from six weeks of age. Please choose the correct size according to your pet's body weight.
